The story
I had so much fun making this piece I hope you love it too. Hours and hours go into this stunning handmade piece. This creation is 100% handmade from start to finish and you wont find her hanging in your neighbour's bedroom. (Unless they have amazing handmade taste like you)
The process
To start this with a 12 inch metal hoop. I wrap the hoop shape with our softest 100% cotton string in 4mm. I then get to work on the detailed web adding the beads for that extra bit of unique handmade detail.
Onto the macrame tail using square knots this part takes the most concentration, I find it's a form of meditation.
The softest single ply macrame string is then added to the tail in 4mm.
I then add feathers for the final touch. (and take a brake, my fingers will be tired)
