The story
This piece was inspired by caves and the natural stones they contain, the clear quartz look as if they are growing out of the mooncatcher.
I've added an amethyst and clear quartz to help with stress and anxiety.
The process
To start this piece I saw the unique moon shape using MDF wood. (love a good power tool) I wrap the moon shape with our softest 100% cotton string in 4mm grey. I then get to work on the detailed web adding clear quartz chips for that extra bit of unique handmade detail.
I then add clear quartz to the moons cave to look as if its growing within the dreamcatcher. I've also added amethyst and clear quartz with wire wrapping.
