The process
To start this piece I saw the moon shape using MDF wood. (love a good power tool) I wrap the moon shape with our softest 100% cotton string in 4mm natural. I then get to work on the detailed web adding beads for that extra bit of unique handmade detail.
Onto the macrame tail using a thicker 7mm natural string.
I then dip dye the mooncatcher with the shade forest green. This can be done in different colours if needed.
