The story
Aurora mooncatcher, Named after the one and only princess Aurora. This was originally a custom order when putting these colours together I couldnt stop thinking about the film sleep and beauty and how her dress changed colours while she danced with her prince.
The process
To start this piece I saw the moon shape using MDF wood. I wrap the moon shape with our softest 100% cotton string in 4mm snow white. I then get to work on the detailed web adding different coloured beads for that extra bit of unique handmade detail.
Onto the macrame tail using white, lilac, blue and pink.
